Name.com DNS setup for BlogPath

Create the CNAME in Name.com so BlogPath can serve your blog at /blog.

What you are configuring

  • Record type: CNAME
  • Host: blog (or your chosen hostname)
  • Answer: proxy.blogpath.io
  • TTL: default

Steps in Name.com

  1. Log in → My Domains → click your domain.
  2. Open the DNS Records tab.
  3. Click Add Record.
  4. Type: CNAME.
  5. Host: blog.
  6. Answer: proxy.blogpath.io.
  7. TTL: default.
  8. Add record.

Apex note

Use a subdomain for BlogPath; keep apex A/ALIAS on the main site. Configure BlogPath fallback origin to your main site for non-blog paths.

Verify

In BlogPath, run DNS checkVerify. Remove any A/AAAA on the same host if verification fails.
